All excess baggage must be assessed and charged before the passenger boards the aircraft. Baggage checked in addition to the traveler's baggage allowance. Checked baggage allowance may vary depending on cabin, status level, military status, itinerary and date of purchase.
Baggage carried in excess of the free baggage allowance is charged as follows, irrespective of the class paid for and used by the passenger. Excess Baggage Charge rate, applicable to a checked portion of travel on purely THAI Domestic sectors, are in Weight Concept on a fixed rate listed below.

1. The above "Domestic Excess Baggage Charge Table" is effective for a checked portion of travel On/After 23JUL12 until further notice.
2. Excess Baggage Charge rate is per kilogram in THB (Thai Baht).
3. The Excess Baggage Charge per kilogram for any additional THAI Domestic services is 1.5 percent of the highest normal direct one way economy class fare.
4. Child and infant discounted rates are not applicable.
5. For International Excess Baggage Charge rates are separately shown in USD (US Dollars).
6. If baggage is through check from TG Domestic connecting to TG International sectors, the Excess Baggage through check portion of travel is applied by zoning basis.
7. TG Domestic Sectors in Thailand is located by Zone 1 (Please refer Zoning Definitions for International Excess Baggage Charge Table.)
8. The condition on the 5th note, Currency Conversion: Excess baggage Charges published in USD only will be converted to the Local Currency by using the Banker's Selling Rate on the date of baggage charged.
Excess Baggage Charges Within TC3, Between TC2 (Europe, Africa, Middle East) and TC3 (Asia, Australia, New Zealand). Baggage carried in excess of the free baggage allowance is charged as follows, irrespective of the class paid for and used by the passenger.
Area 1(TC1) is composed of the whole of the Western Hemisphere.
Area 2(TC2) is Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Area 3(TC3) is composed of the whole of Asia and the neighboring islands (with the exception of the part included in TC2); Australia, New Zealand and neighboring islands and also the Pacific Islands (except those included in TC1).
